There are 3 different types of Internet Marketers – The first one is a newbie Internet Marketer, where you are just starting out and still learning the ropes, and trying to make your very first sale online.

Next up is the intermediate Internet Marketer, in which you are already generating a consistent income on the Internet (either as an affiliate marketer or as a product owner, selling your own products and services).

And finally, there are the top-notched, highly successful Internet Marketers, who are consistently generating tens of thousands of dollars from the Internet every single month. These people have a vast amount of experience and expertise, and one that many newbie Internet Marketers admire and want to emulate.

There are 3 secrets in which these highly successful Internet Marketers have in common, and in this article, I am going to reveal what these 3 secrets are.

1. Venture Into Profitable Niches Only
First and foremost, these top-notched Internet Marketers, prior to going into a niche, will carry out full research to make sure that the niche that they intend to go into are not only demand, but also one that people are spending money on.

This is extremely important, as, after you have selected a niche you want to venture into, you are going to spend a substantial amount of time on it – Such as creating a website, and populating that website with content, locating products and/or services to sell, etc.

If you venture into a niche market without conducting proper research, then you are in danger of going into one that has completely no demand (and no buyers).

And if that is really the case, then you are wasting your time and effort. You will then end up feeling frustrated and wondering why there are so many Internet Marketers being able to generate so much income online while you are not even generating a single cent. And you will eventually give up.

Therefore, it is imperative that, before you decide on a niche market to venture into, you conduct a proper research – The simplest way is to find out whether or not there is a demand for it (as well as ready buyers) is to find out whether or not there are books and magazines dedicated to that particular niche. If there are, then chances are there is a market for the niche, and you can consider going into it.

2. Have Your Own Website

Getting your own domain name (around the niche that you are in), as well as hosting (to host your website), is much more professional compared to hosting a website with a free hosting service.

Let me ask you a simple question – Between a.com website and a Blogger blog, which one will you feel more comfortable in buying products/services from?

Of course is the website with a.com domain name, right? (I hope you chose this answer as well).

What highly successful Internet Marketers do is that, they will get a keyword-rich domain name (meaning a domain name that, at one look, one can tell what the website is all about), as well as a reliable hosting service, and they will populate their website full of unique information, that people can not find anywhere else.

By populating your website with unique information, not only will it be appreciated by the search engines (search engines love unique content, and they will reward you by ranking your website high up in their search engine listings), it will also result in your website to be able to drive massive volumes of traffic, and visitors will regard you as the authority in the niche (and with that, they will most likely buy any products/services that you recommend).

I understand that some of you, especially if you are new to Internet Marketing and just starting out, do not wish to spend so much upfront and would prefer to use a free blog as your website for the start – That is completely OK. But make sure that, down the road, if the niche you have chosen to go into is making you money, you get yourself a.com domain name, as well as hosting, and host your own website (instead of continuing to rely on free blogs as your website)

3. Treat The Internet Business With The Correct Mindset

The reason why many Internet Marketers fail to make a substantial amount of income online is because they are not consistent with their efforts – They work on it for 2 hours today, and then work for another hour again after a week, so on and so forth.

I can be honest with you here – By doing so, there is absolutely no way you will be able to generate a substantial income.

These people spend as much as 8 to 12 hours every single day (7 days a week) working on their Internet Business. They treat the entire Internet Business seriously, and they worked and build on it – Which is why now they are able to enjoy the fruits of their success (in being able to generate a huge income online).

Therefore, if you want to generate a massive income from your Internet Business, then you need to put in a considerable amount of effort, heart and soul into it. Spend at least 1 to 2 hours on it every single day (7 days a week) working on it. Whether is it reading through ebooks or watching videos on how to setup your very first Internet Business, or creating your website, writing articles (in the niche that you are in), etc., do something.

By taking consistent action every single day, your Internet Business will eventually build up, and you will slowly start seeing money coming in, and if you continue to work on it, you will eventually be able to see results that highly successful Internet Marketers are getting.

1. Procrastination – The King Of Failure

Procrastination is by far the KING of failure with respect to online business success. If you fall into the trap of “putting things off”, you will e doomed to failure. Be certain that you develop a consistent habit of taking action. Even if you consistently make mistakes it is imperative that you take action on a consistent basis. Create some form of time management system that you can use consistently. Prioritize your tasks and keep lists of everything that needs to be done. If you feel that your confidence level concerning your online activities is not quite up to par, do not allow this to hinder the execution of your planned activities. What ultimately matters is the consistent execution of your key activities. Your comfort level with specific tasks will improve over time!
