Conspiracy: Why does the news badmouth video games than movies?
It seems whenever there is a school shooting, murder, or something going bad with children or teens, the news tends to point fingers at video games. I’ve noticed that they never do this with movies when they do reports. I mean, anyone remember when the news exaggerated about how those kids killed a child using “Mortal Kombat” moves? They even tried to say that Counter Strike prompted Chou Seung Hui to do the Virginia Tech shooting.
Why does the news constantly badmouth the gaming industry? Are they secretly getting paid from the movie industry to do this so people will stop playing video games? It sounds like a conspiracy to me. I am surprised they haven’t badmouthed Halo 3 or Smash Bros. because they were top sellers in the U.S.

Why are there no special news reports being aired about the Universities in Iraq supporting VaTech students?
Why doesn’t the news media print positive reinforcement of what is going on in Iraq. Does this sound like a people who hate us? Look at how generous the students are to our grief when the are suffering daily attacks. This is more newsworthy then a two week diatribe on Anna Nicole Simpson. Our media is definately focused on our destruction cause it will create more news.

To Gemini:
And with all that going on around them they found it in their hearts to show support for 32 students who lost their lives at the hands of a murderer. Yes I do think that is noteworthy.

Need help finding savage news articles?
For a school project, I have to find an article that displays the savage side of man and write a summary about it. While there are lots of things I could do, most of the ones I know are already being done by other people (9/11, Virgina Tech, Columbine) and I can’t find any others. Do you know any articles? If you have a link, that would be really helpful.
Note: They have to be pretty recent, 2000 or later.

WWE in the news, please read details?
How come when the WWE does something good such as:
Tribute to the Troops (and the troops were more excited about that than Bush appearances)
First live show after 9-11 sayin you can attack us but you will never break us
All the endless charity donations Vince makes along with other wrestlers
Free tickets to the students of Virginia Tech
and others
But none of that gets covered but when something bad happens that does.
Shouldnt the news look for good things as well. That is there job I thought.
Is it me or do they just think wrestling is a bad image?
Thanks to everyone who answered. You all deserve it. I can’t pick one so you go vote for one I guess. Thanks a million.

Why is it I’ve never seen a story explaining how Monsanto made it’s profits on the news …?
From the production of Agent Orange and other chemicals in the vietnam war …It has been accused of hiding decades of pollution and helping cause and profit from the worlds food crisis… to reinventing itself as a bio-tech company …and pushing bio-tech seeds as a solution…
In 2008 the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations condemned corporate profiteering: “The essential purpose of food, which is to nourish people, has been subordinated to the economic aims of a handful of multinational corporations that monopolize all aspects of food production, from seeds to major distribution chains, and they have been the prime beneficiaries of the world crisis. A look at the figures for 2007, when the world food crisis began, shows that corporations such as Monsanto and Cargill, which control the cereals market, saw their profits increase by 45 and 60 per cent, respectively.”
So why hasn’t the press ever given people an in depth look at what this market leader does to acquire it’s money …?

With all the good economic news released today, do you think we are recovering?
Watching the stock market move today reminded me of the old days in the Clinton administration. The move was based on all the good economic news out today and forecasts for the future on hiring etc. Do you think this news is a temporary stimulus? Or, do you think we are on the way to recovery? I still think the effects of the stimulus is at work and this news can change on a dime. For instance, tech companies are doing well because the stimulus allows companies to depreciate all new capital equipment in the first year for 2009. So, we are seeing great news and earnings from tech companies. Retail sales increased which I think is the result of people spending their tax refunds. I know this is pessimistic, but other than the stimulus nothing has been done to solve systemic problems in the economy like outsourcing, health care, deficits, wars, etc. What’s your opinion? .

Why Americans like to read or listen to Celebrities news?
Why we gotta focus on Britney’s bald head? And Imus Imus Imus? And Alex Baldwin’s outburst? And JLO is trying to make a baby? And listen to Rosie’s rant?
Why we can’t read REAL news about Iraq, how things are progressing, what really happen at Virginia Tech and look
at Cho’s video and read his suicidal notes, and see what
is really going on around the world?
And plus I don’t understand this Gonzales’… if we should fired
him or not? What did he do? I find this one boring.
And also, I wanna understand WHY that Tennessee preacher’s wife got 3 to 6 years in prison for murder.
What kind of evidence and all?

WSB News: Ducati pull plug on WSB effort…..?
Well, this : motomatters.com/news/2010/08/27/bombshell_ducati_withdraw_from_world_sup.html really is a bombshell.
Anything to do with VR46′s wage ?
The lack of results from Haga & flower ponce bonce, whatever his name is ?
Your thoughts please RACE fans ?
(Also, Spies to Factory Yam just confirmed, No doubt Cal to Tech 3 then the news that the Pope is Catholic )
MotoGP needs a British rider in the blue ribbon class. The TV revenue alone states we need Cal in there ASAP.
As for Nori, time to hang them leathers up now.
Ben Spies did a Rossi on him last year by beating him on an unknown machine at tracks he did not know. Nori#41, thats it for you.
Good luck Cal & Tech 3. It has to happen next year, as who else is there to ride in the team?
He is also Monster paid too, so he wont need to find his own wage and nor with Herve or Yamaha. On paper Tech 3 will only have to find one riders wage. If its CE2 as his team mate, then Bridgestone pay Colins wage, so that will be good for the team too.
