The bike is not the best, but J,T is by far the rider to sit on it (on Dunlops) so lets see what he can do.

I’m just glad he has left WSB. After the 8hr balls up, he was never going to get a Honda ride!

Tech 3 Yamaha would like to announce that it has secured the services of James Toseland for the 2008 season. The British rider will begin his MotoGP career with the Yamaha factory supported organisation next year.

Toseland – who is currently leading the Superbike World Championship by 43 points – has already proved his racing credentials. He was the youngest ever World Superbike Champion in 2004 and is aiming to secure the title once again this season.

“I am delighted to have secured a rider of James’ calibre and am looking forward to working with him,” says Team Principal Herve Poncharal. “Procuring James is a major coup for Tech 3 Yamaha and for the MotoGP championship in extending our reach into Northern Europe. It is an exciting time for us all and I am certain that he will be an integral part of the team’s future.”

His crew history on movies and a film degree means he’s not just a subway worker, he;s an off season industry tech.

Shock and awe…I watched cable news tonight NOT based in the US…and guess what? I actually got something besides entertainment posing as news.

Is FOX News Promoting “Worst Massacre In US History” Contest Or What?

FOX News reports “The worst killing spree in US History” once every five minutes for two days now.

The lunatic fringe wannabe mass murder champs must be drooling all over themselves watching FOX News continuous coverage of the Va Tech shootings, thinking that could be me.

FOX News states that the standing record is 33 dead and 29 wounded. That’s a realistic goal for the truly depraved sociopath.

Not only that but they fail to mention Tim McVeigh or 9/11.

MSN news stories never load on my computer?

I have it set as my home page, so sometimes I wil see an interesting looking story but when I click on it, it never loads. I have emailed the tech support people there but they never help. The weird thing is that the celeb gossip and random how-to videos and stuff will work, but not the news. Even if someone emails me the link it still doesn’t work.

Any ideas?

Should there be a limit on how much coverage certain types of “Breaking News” receives?

I am thankful to have the ability to turn on the news and hear whats happening around me. But after some time, It seems that all the media frenzy takes over and its less about the news at hand and more about who can find the breaking stories first. I realize the news needs ratings too, but when you turn on the TV, Listen to the radio, and surf the net. It’s all you see/hear.
I think the media should step back, a lot earlier than they do. In the case, of V Tech, let these families grieve in peace. Let the officials investigate. Go back after a respectable length of time and then fill the rest of the world in all the details. Maybe, this very disturbed individual was wanting this to happen, and we are justifying his actions. Am I the only one who feels that way?

I lost my local news from my Yahoo homepage and now world, bussiness, sports and entertainment and tech. are there. How do I fix it?
