Mainstream Media/Virginia Tech?

I know Virginia Tech is a tragedy and i wished it never had happened but do you think the virginia tech will became a sought of news heaven for the mainstream media since media doesnt really have anything constructive to report ( imus situation which went out of proportion as if it was the most horrifiying incident) do you think would it be appropriate to have media presence constantly at Virginia Tech,shouldnt the media just leave them alone untill they return to normalcy

how was seung cho able to apply at va tech and get in considering his autism?

i thought va tech was a top ranked school so i wonder about the standards the school puts on accepting students if cho had apparent social problems. his academic record was never mentioned by news so he couldn’t have been at a high academic level, which is why i ask how he could get into va tech?

Where to find Volcom snowboarding Zip Tech pants?

I’m looking for Volcom zip tech pants. I have a Zip tech jacket but i can’t seem to find the pants anywhere. Ive had Burton and Session pants but I’m not really satisfied. Anyone know where i can find these? Basically they are just pants that zip to the jacket. Any pants that have the same kind of zipper would work but Volcom is the only Co. i know made them. i heard Burton might also have some but i have not seen any and don’t know if the zippers would be the same.

Please don’t post a bunch of random websites. I have checked stuff like dogfunk.com. they have volcom pants yes but don’t mention weather or not they are “ziptech”.
An actual store that has them in the seattle-everette area would be nice if you know one.
Follow up to anyone else. I found out that ALL Volcom pants have Zip-tech now. A lot of Burton pants have it also and they ARE compatible. the board shop said they don’t but i tried them on with my volcom zip tech jacket and they do work together just fine.
Burton may not have them in 2011 due to Volcom getting a patent on the zip tech.

Fox news is talking to students and looking for people to blame for this shooting. Fox news isn’t looking for the news they are trying to make news to show how Virgina Tech. and the campus surcurity are to blame. What do you think?

Where did everyone get their info that the Virginia TEch Murderer was Chinese?

Y!A was flooded with accusation last night that the shooter was a Chinese student here on a study Visa. Most news item on the Internet refuse to state much information on the Identity of the shooter. Today I find he’s from South Korea. Where did everyone got the news. How did they get detail, like Visa status. Someone even here said he had marital problems.
There was one person that said to wait it out for a while because the news items couldn’t be reliable so early on. Did the news who gave the identity as being Chinese suffer from the same problem as when Bush/Gore election. THey rush to report the newsto beat the others and failed or don’t care avbout reliabilty of the source. Did they even have a source.

Isn’t it bad enough we have to see the Virginia Tech killers pic on every newspaper and tv?

But now CNN and probably every other news source has the picture he took of himself posing with his 2 guns. It makes me so disgusted! Why can’t they descibe what the picture looks like instead of broadcasting it all over the world. I feel like somehow he will get some kind of satisfaction out of it.
And then I even heard one station call it the “Killers name” massacre. I can’t even say his name without getting sick to my stomach.

Media responsible for the Racism after VA tech Massacre?

You know while watching several news channels during the last few days I noticed that the Media is very one sided on things. First off I do not in anyway agree with what Cho did but I feel compelled to say that I heard news broadcasters on several stations call him “evil” even before they knew the full story. And then when they found out he had post traumatic syndrome they still call him “evil.” Now many of the asian american students around the country are feeling the heat yet people seem to forget that 90% of rapists and school shooters thus far were caucasian people. I never understood why when caucasians commit similar crimes, the porpertraitors are looked at as an individual basis and not as a group yet it is not the other way around for almost all other racial groups but now I am very convinced the media plays a big role in it. Anyone else agree?
Uh.. that that first comment mr. Rev…its clear you are a racist yourself so don’t answer anymore of my questions. And thats not true, the media did speculate much about his racist before hand stating on the air that they “believed” he was a chinese foreign exchange student. Get your facts straight. And dont say nothing was done to asians because I personally know of two good friends of mine that had racist encounters already.
it was so much better a few decades ago when Oz was all White. When all people were of the same race, racism is unheard of.
