Do you think if students of the Virgina Tech gun club would have been able to carry there weopons on campus, there may have been a chance this guy wouldnt have killed so many people? Last night on ABC’s News show, they talked to the students of the club. One of them said that if he would have been able to keep his weopon on his person along with the other members, they might have been able to take the killer out.
I thought it was evident that if someone was in a gun club, they’ve been through a gun safety program and lessons in firing a gun. Do some of you think that when you join a gun club they just give you a gun and tell you to go shooting?

What do you think of AOL’s decision today to give away email and others services?

They will no longer market their online dial up services, and they are giving it all away for free. Even their security software and premium services potentially. The strategy is to concede defeat to broadband and free services by Yahoo/Google/MS and try to convert some of the brand loyalty into advertising dollars. Can they survive?

what do you think about the Virginia Tech shooting?

I am at VSDB only miles away from VT, and it is all over the news. I am talking to all the staff and getting there opions, they all say it is the baddest thing they have had happen mear them. And it is four times as bad for the families. The news is on talking about it. What are the stories that you got about it? If the is a inter net site send me a link.
My teacher got the news on the internet on the computer and played it for us. And they that it could have been a Asian man about 22 to 18 to 30. And why do YOU think that there was not a bigger response to a problem that even thou could not be stopped could be prevented to some point.

now in a way I’m not suprised. if you play war games and see the movies you wander about the cawerds that do this stuff, what would stop someone from comeing in aned just popping off shots on people. it is sad but we should try to look at even this in a good way. say hurricane katrina; for example. people want on and on about bush did not do anything, and yes there were leat to do anything but look at how the families came together and had people in there home that they did not know! thats the power of helping someone in need. so in this there is sadness but if there is forgivness then there will be a better outcome.
and we all know where he is.

That is so sad, i was reading on yahoo about the whole story and on the news all day yesterday. how do you feel about what happened? what should we do as a society to stop shootings happening in schools? they should have metal detertors.we need to do something. the government needs to step up.

How about this America: I think we should all turn off the News Media for the next week….?

…as a sign of respect to the families of the Virginia Tech victims. I think the media is completely out of control. Whether it’s NBC airing Cho Seung-Hu’s manifesto or any of the others for dragging familes/victims/witnesses through the mud for thier own ratings gain. I understand that the story is interesting, but we can get our news from the internet. We can live without them for a week. These are people’s children… not a media frenzy. Don’t kid yourself in to thinking that any of one of those reporters gives a crap. They Don’t! Give them a sign- turn them off for a week.

Do you think it’s a bad idea for NBC to be broadcasting the tapes the Virginia Tech killer made and sent out?

I think it’s a terrible idea. Officials in the Columbine tragedy sealed records in hopes of preventing copycat killers. Glorifying Cho (and giving him what he wants by broadcasting these tapes) might unfortunately encourage copycats.

Furthermore, I personally can’t stomach any more gruesome details in this case. And I certainly can’t watch the news now because they’re playing these tapes that the killer made. I’m having nightmares about this tragedy and I wasn’t even there!

what do you guys think of the murders that happened at virginia tech?

do you think its a bad idea for the news stations to be telling the public about the descriptions of what the man did because it will give ideas to other people to repeat?

It’s not science fiction any more, a material 5 times stronger then steel that can withstand the impact of 4 locamotives on steel the size of a fingernail and not break.

The media is notorious for leaving out details that could indicate terrorism. For instance out of dozens of news reports and articles I’ve read on the VTech shootings, only two mentioned what was written on the shooter’s arm. “Ismail Ax” was written in red letters on his arm. Coincidence? What do you think?
before you call me a conspiracy nut read my whole question. If you think this has nothing to do with terrorism, then explain what “Ismail Ax” means.
